Why it mattered

Lifting still costs Britain millions of working days.

In 2024/25, 511,000 workers in Great Britain had a work-related musculoskeletal disorder. That cost 7.1 million working days, and backs were hit hardest. Manual handling is one of the main causes (HSE, 2025).

Anonymous recording

The lift leaves the phone. The face doesn’t.

Some sites don’t want faces on film. With anonymous recording on, the lift is still checked on the phone, but only the movement skeleton uploads. The video never does.
