Envestors has helped UK founders raise and grow since 2004.
Envestors is one of the UK's longest-running investment networks and an endorsing body for the Innovator Founder route. Its founders have raised more than £180 million, and its network of over 4,000 investors and advisers stays with them through their first years in the UK. We are one of its build partners: when a founder needs their product designed and built, Envestors can introduce them to us.
Brief
Founders need a product that proves their idea is innovative, viable and scalable.
On the Innovator Founder route, a founder's business has to be new, innovative, viable and scalable, and they meet their endorsing body at checkpoints to show how it is going. For most of them the product is the business, and many arrive having already lost months to a build that stalled. They need a UK team that will tell them plainly what to build first, agree a price up front, and get something real in front of customers and investors quickly.
Solution

Every engagement starts with a short discovery, so the founder knows exactly what they are getting before they commit to the build. The build is then agreed at a fixed price, paid stage by stage, by our UK team, and the founder owns the code from day one. One founder introduced to us through Envestors came with a legal tech idea for the construction industry and an earlier offshore build that had stalled. Discovery took two weeks. The build was agreed in stages, and the first stage was working in twelve days. We are now also helping them with the technical detail for a patent application.

Founders get a working product, a known cost and a team that stays with them.
