At launch you have a live product, in accounts that are yours, with the code and IP owned by you. It comes with a CMS, user analytics, training and documentation. And you’ve checked it at three points along the way, before most of the budget was spent.
LaunchPad builds a product you keep, not a throwaway MVP. On launch day you have:
The higher tiers add more around the product. Growth includes competitor analysis and a go-to-market strategy. Scale adds long-term product planning, a certification gap analysis, and a pitch deck template and press kit. The pricing page lists every tier in full, and how much a LaunchPad build costs sets the prices side by side.
You don’t have to wait until launch day to find out what you’re getting. There are three points where you see it before committing more.
| Checkpoint | What you can judge | If it’s not right |
|---|---|---|
| End of Discovery | The plan: who it’s for, what’s in the first release, and why | You get your money back |
| End of Design | A clickable prototype you can put in front of real users | Changing a screen now takes minutes, not days |
| During Build | Working software on your own phone | You see problems while they’re still cheap to fix |
Each phase is invoiced in advance, one at a time. You never pay for Build before you’ve seen the prototype.
A product you can grow from is worth more than one you’ll rebuild in a year. We build on common, well-supported technology, so your next engineer or team can pick it up.
AI speeds up the typing; people still do the thinking. The result is code a human understands and can explain to your next hire.
Everything can come to you. Your hosting is a whole AWS account that can move out to you. Your apps can transfer between developer accounts. Your GitHub repositories can transfer too. Do I own the code and IP covers the details.
Value is what the product does for the business, not how many screens it has.
More examples are in can I see past work.
We can promise a well-built, launched product for a fixed price. We can’t promise the market wants it. Nobody can, and you should be wary of anyone who says otherwise.
That risk is best tested before you hire anyone, us included. Talk to people who have the problem. Ask some of them to pay or pre-order. If nobody will, you’ve lost weeks rather than a build budget.
Discovery then tests the solution and the plan with you. If the idea hasn’t been tested with customers at all, we’ll tell you. Sometimes a cheap prototype is a better next step than a LaunchPad.
Our guide to validating an app idea has the questions and tests we’d use.
Launch is when the learning starts, and the champagne is optional. Agree two or three numbers that show it’s working, like sign-ups and people coming back a week later.
You can run the product yourself, with your own team, or hand the day-to-day to TotalCare and get back to selling it. Do you offer ongoing maintenance covers the options.
